RESTING our BRAINS

Psalm 4:8

King James Version

8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:

for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.

It is a sleep-deprived society.

No thanks to high-tech society, and its demands.

Which all exhaust mind, body, soul, and spirit.

That being that, CHRIST's enemy swoops in for the "kill".

Many are left with no resistance from this enemy's devices.

You have been depleted, deceived, divided, and distracted.

You have been made too busy to sleep, think, or care.

So, have you seen the enemy's game for what it is yet?

That you don't have time for GOD, self, and others?

That you don't earn enough, much as you work harder?

That even that job is being replaced by machines?

That if you don't accept digitalization, you're done?

You have been lied to, greatly.

Because the prince of this world is just that.

JESUS called him a "liar":

John 8:44

King James Version

44 Ye are of your father the devil,

and the lusts of your father ye will do.

He was a murderer from the beginning,

and abode not in the truth,

because there is no truth in him.

When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own:

for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Remember, GOD instituted, and invented, "rest":

Genesis 2:1-3

King James Version

2 Thus the heavens and the earth

were finished, and all the host of them.

2 And on the seventh day

God ended his work which he had made;

and he rested on the seventh day

from all his work which he had made.

3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it:

because that in it he had rested from all his work

which God created and made.

And the rest is up to you.

We all DESERVE "rest".

Make time to rest.

Don't overload your brain.

Don't be bullied by anyone.

Get off digital addiction.

Make time for family.

Most of all, make GOD "first".

JESUS commanded we do so:

Matthew 22:37-38

King James Version

37 Jesus said unto him,

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God

with all thy heart,

and with all thy soul,

and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first

and great commandment.

Cast your cares upon CHRIST.

Have peace through JESUS.

He is balm to our soul.

A much-needed rest.

Psalm 55:22

King James Version

22 Cast thy burden upon the Lord,

and he shall sustain thee:

he shall never suffer the righteous

to be moved.

Isaiah 40:31

King James Version

31 But they that wait upon the Lord

shall renew their strength;

they shall mount up with wings as eagles;

they shall run, and not be weary;

and they shall walk, and not faint.

Matthew 11:28-29

King James Version

28 Come unto me,

all ye that labour and are heavy laden,

and I will give you rest.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;

for I am meek and lowly in heart:

and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Lastly, you can only discern, through the HOLY SPIRIT.

You need this "Spirit of truth" to be able to do so.

He will teach you everything you want to know.

You will be taught what really matters most.

Never again can Satan make mincemeat of your brain.

Now, you have GOD's SPIRIT to teach you.

All according to GOD's will.

Which is all that matters anyway.

This time, nothing can exhaust you.

Sleep will be easy, and restful.

You will wake up clear, and purposeful.

Love will be true, and CHRIST-filled.

That's why it's time to be born again now.

It's the only way SPIRIT can rest upon you.

To protect your from all harm.

And yes, to have that sound sleep everyone needs.

Ephesians 1:13

King James Version

13 In whom ye also trusted,

after that ye heard the word of truth,

the gospel of your salvation:

in whom also after that ye believed,

ye were sealed

with that holy Spirit of promise,
