Exodus 35:31

King James Version

31 And he hath filled him 

with the spirit of God, 

in wisdom, 

in understanding, 

and in knowledge, 

and in all manner of workmanship;

Those two pieces I found on the floor this morning.

They fell off my mom's old sewing machine cabinet.

These were so fine, and delicate, I had to be gentle with it.

Others would have thrown it away.

Maybe my mom would have glued it back.

But I saw differently.

SPIRIT gave me the idea to create artwork with it.

The items were clear:

A "cross" and two "L"

Having a childlike heart, I imagined many things.

The symbolic, and spiritual, representations of these things.

SPIRIT knew I would.

That's why He let the pieces fall to the floor.

To my great delight, of course.

The cross is CHRIST.

The two Ls stand for LOVE, and my name.

I'm sitting on the bigger "L".

We look towards the cross.

The red background stands for the BLOOD of CHRIST.

Which washes us from our sins, and all filthiness.

Where others want to live in the "lap of luxury", I'm different.

As born again, I live on the "LAP of GOD's LOVE".

As a daughter would sit on her FATHER's lap.

Happy, content, safe, and secure.

The two "Ls" also stand for "LOVE" and "LIGHT".

You see, being childlike gets you to explore possibilities.

If you're not born again, your vision will be limited.

Being born again means you connect daily life with Scripture.

You connect EVERYTHING with the WORD of GOD.

It's the only way you can understand life.

Scripture gives true meaning to your life.

It gives depth to everything in your life.

There is no boredom when GOD makes you born again.

GOD will keep you busy in His service.

GOD will keep you delighted as you work.

GOD will guide you all the time.

What could be a better existence than that?

The way is clear.

The methods are clear.

The goals are clear.

The future is clear.

It's all JESUS.

John 14:6

King James Version

6 Jesus saith unto him, 

I am the way, the truth, and the life: 

no man cometh unto the Father, 

but by me.

You need to be childlike with JESUS.

A child sees beauty in most everything.

Most everything intrigues him.

Others may scoff at your simplicity.

But JESUS likes simplicity.

He is simplicity.

Satan likes complexity.

He likes getting you confused.

JESUS commands we be like children.

Pure, trusting, expectant.

As such, we must protect that child in each one of us.

JESUS said so:

Matthew 18:1-7

18 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, 

saying, 

Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, 

and set him in the midst of them,

3 And said, 

Verily I say unto you, 

Except ye be converted, 

and become as little children, 

ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself 

as this little child, 

the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

5 And whoso shall receive 

one such little child in my name 

receiveth me.

which believe in me, 

it were better for him that a millstone 

were hanged about his neck, 

and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Our DANCE class

 

Psalm 149:3-4

King James Version

3 Let them praise his name in the dance: 

let them sing praises unto him 

with the timbrel and harp.

4 For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: 

he will beautify the meek with salvation.

WELCOME to our dance "class"!

Wherein we dance for the LORD.

We dance to thank Him for the life given us.

We dance for His glory.

We move, in appreciation of the abilities He gave us.

That we're able to move at all.

That we have childlike hearts in our soul.

That we're not robot-like, but child-like.

We dance, not for money, but for GOD.

We dance for the pure joy of it.

Not checking if we have the right gear.

Not concerned if we're "trending".

Not showing off on social media.

Not trying to outdo each other.

Not trying to seduce.

We dance for GOD.

We dance for each other.

We dance for self.

We all have a SONG in our hearts.

We all have a rhythm GOD gave us.

That's the beat of the drum given us.

Perfectly attuned for GOD's purpose.

That song, and rhythm, is not only for dance.

It's the song and rhythm, for your life, and work.

It's the beat, pace, and pulse GOD gave you.

Surely, you feel that in your heart.

Children hear a song, and they dance.

They don't care if their moves are right.

Although adults tend to teach them their moves.

Would be better if you just watch your child move.

And see the beat, pace, and pulse GOD gave them.

I'm all for preserving the "song" GOD gave each one of us.

That's the KEY word.

As it is, we are creating many wounded children.

Because we are wounded adults.

Let's not do that to the children.

They trust us.

Let's not do that to each other.

Respect GOD' gift in each one.

Let's not project ourselves onto others.

Better we focus on the beat, pace, and pulse GOD gave us.

That we may live, love, and work as GOD would have us.

You watch.

It will be a different world.

Especially if GOD makes you born again.

You will be taught by SPIRIT.

You will know JESUS' commands.

You will love GOD, above all.

Once born again, nothing is for self anymore.

There will be no greed, pride, vanity, lust, or desire for power.

Everything will be for GOD.

Everything will be for others.

You take the back seat, as GOD takes the front seat.

He's got a throne, you know.

JESUS stands beside Him.

At GOD's right hand.

And all of us?

We worship at Their feet.

For, without GOD, we wouldn't exist.

Without JESUS, we wouldn't know what pleases GOD.

Without SPIRIT, we wouldn't have a chance to dance.

SPIRIT gives us that ability to dance.

Job 33:4

4 The spirit of God hath made me, 

and the breath of the Almighty 

hath given me life.

Such is our dance "class".

It's a class beyond worldly definitions.

It's allowing the child in us to move, as GOD created us to move.

Our bodies are the TEMPLE of the HOLY SPIRIT.

How could anyone, then, ever think of defiling that body?

How could anyone ever manipulate our gifts?

How could anyone ever corrupt any child?

Our bodies are for GOD.

1 Corinthians 6:13

13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: 

but God shall destroy both it and them. 

Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; 

and the Lord for the body.

15 Know ye not that your bodies

We dance for GOD.

That's the intention of our dance "classes".

That all "dance" honors His Son, JESUS.

Who gave us LIFE, LOVE, and LIGHT.

Who is the WAY to all righteousness.

Who prayed for GOD's SPIRIT to be in us.

That we may remember His teachings.

Which honors GOD alone.

JESUS is the Song we dance with.

Going back to that dream article, this article you're reading now:

"PURE in HEART"

Three articles in barely a day.

Some days, SPIRIT makes me write up to eight.

But today, was quite fun.

Only because I finally found answers to many questions.

One, that nagged me for months.

This kind of simple joys happen when you're born again.

You know when SPIRIT leads you to something.

We're like a couple of sleuths.

A team.

Or, at least, He allows me to be a "sleuth".

The MOST FUN TEAM ever!

He knows I won't stop, till I've found answers.

And followed, and completed, His lead.

Thus, He gives me TONS of ideas.

LOTS of clues.

PERSISTENT prompts.

And DELIGHTFUL answers.

Who am I to resist such fun work?

If you're like me, you'd enjoy working with SPIRIT.

You can't have enough of Scripture.

Just when you think you know something, SPIRIT gives you more.

And you just keep marveling at the richness of GOD's WORD.

How everything must be cherished, and meditated upon.

Everything is precious in Scripture.

Make time to know GOD's story.

He made me rest yesterday, a Saturday.

But today, wow, THREE beautiful articles to share with you!

That's why I love being childlike with JESUS.

No matter how ancient I am, my heart remains young.

Never jaded, never morose, never depressed.

Or, at least, since GOD made me born again 52 months ago.

As of yesterday.

If I'm precise, it's because I want to keep track of my progress.

I want to tell you my story as born again.

Remembering every detail.

Because it's really fun!

I mean, how else are stories woven?

Except through detail?

Also, a childlike heart tends to ask TONS of questions.

We only stop when we hear a "TING!"

And we know we've been supplied the answer.

In GOD's world, the answers have always been there.

It's up to the childlike human to find it.

Surely, GOD enjoys witnessing us discover His treasures.

What is a child, but a persistent creature?

What is a child, but a curious one?

What is a child, but a happy kid?

Never lose that trait in you.

The world may be jaded, but don't be.

Be the pearl that GOD made you.

JESUS did say:

Matthew 7:6

King James Version

6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, 

neither cast ye your pearls before swine, 

lest they trample them under their feet, 

and turn again and rend you.

That's how I thought we're like "pearls".

We give out pearls, from GOD.

Only a born again, with a childlike heart, can really, truly, wholly appreciate GOD.

Precisely why JESUS says:

8 Blessed are the pure in heart: 

for they shall see God.

Matthew 18:3

King James Version

3 And said, 

Verily I say unto you, 

Except ye be converted, 

and become as little children,

There's nothing like being born again.

There's nothing like being childlike.

There's nothing like JESUS.

The PATIENT child

 

2 Chronicles 20:17

17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: 

set yourselves, stand ye still, 

and see the salvation of the Lord with you,

for the Lord will be with you.

Would you quit, if you encountered setbacks?

Would you be discouraged?

Would you give up?

Well, I couldn't.

And wouldn't want to.

Despite another persistent glitch.

When SPIRIT and I started this blog on 8 October, we encountered a spirit attack, and some technical glitches.

On the 12th, laptop finally conked out.

Couldn't get it to work.

So off it went to a technician.

Got it reformatted, and all.

Eager to get back to this blog, another glitch occurred.

Since the laptop got reformatted, all saved items got lost.

Had to do everything again with email and everything.

Experienced setbacks in logging in.

Email provider promised to have it up and running in 48 hours.

Which they kindly did today.

Now, I can finally get back to this blog.

Last post was 12 October.

Today's 16 October.

That means blog got delayed another four days.

I tell ya, there's something about the number FOUR.

But I'm not a whiner.

Being born again helps in many ways.

SPIRIT taught me to be patient.

He taught me to work on other things.

In the process, we created another blog.

The 93rd, in fact.

It's still in the works.

We've written 16 articles in two days.

But we're not ready to share the blog -- just yet.

Needs a little more fine tuning.

And a little more thought.

Just to be sure.

We're just happy to be back working on this 92nd blog.

Back to sharing GOD's WORD with you.

Glitches may come, glitches may go.

Challenges may come, challenges may go.

Delays may come, delays may go.

But working with SPIRIT gives you spirit.

You keep at it.

That's what being born again means.

That's what serving the LORD means.

That's what serving you means.

We simply don't give up.

We're the persistent rhino, remember?

We've got a childlike heart.

A child pursues something she believes in.

We're that child.

The number FOUR

were the fourth day.

What is it about the number FOUR?

Why has it shown up on this blog?

What is its significance?

This blog was created four days ago.

This blog has been delayed four days.

That got me thinking about the number four.

What is this number's significance?

Ed. F. Vallowe on his book, "Keys to Scripture Numerics", says:

FOUR 

is 

CREATION....WORLD

Vallowe likens it to the following verses:

Revelation 4:6

6 And before the throne 

there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: 

and in the midst of the throne, 

and round about the throne, 

were four beasts 

full of eyes before and behind.

("full of eyes" -- I seem to have seen that, while I was on the border between sleep, and waking up -- on two separate occasions. Was this the same "beast"? Aha, worthy of another look!)

Revelation 4:7

7 And the first beast was like a lion, 

and the second beast like a calf, 

and the third beast had a face as a man, 

and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

(A lion, a calf, a man, and a flying eagle -- the four "beasts".)

Revelation 4:8

Lord God Almighty, 

which was, and is, and is to come.

("full of eyes within" -- I've seen that TWICE. A must-look-into for a future post.)

(FOUR areas where worship were heard -- in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, and in the sea. FOUR things due GOD -- blessing, honour, glory, and power.)

Those FOUR sets of verses invite deeper study from me.

There's really so much more about the number FOUR.

And we shall look into that.

Either for another post.

Or a blog all its own.

SPIRIT will tell me how.

And in what manner.

For now, you get the idea.

Number FOUR matters.

Sets of FOUR matters.

And it's upon that number that this blog is being created.

Yes, it's a process, for me.

A sweet, gentle process of discovery.

We take it a step at a time.

That's how SPIRIT works with me.

We never get ahead of SPIRIT.

As if we could.

Being born again means you have a childlike heart.

You're teachable, obedient, and excited.

You have a jumping jelly bean heart.

That makes learning so much fun!

Acts 10:30

It's been four days since I first started this blog.

In those four days, much has happened.

Technical challenges.

Delays.

A spirit attack.

Trouble in Israel.

Is this blog that important?

That we experienced delays?

And grief for others suffering?

Was the "test" still on?

To see how much we believed in the blog?

Or did the enemy hate this blog so much?

Just a few observations since this blog's creation:

This was born from "championing" the cause of the child.

SPIRIT purposed this blog for the childlike heart.

In those very days, terrorists have been trying to destroy children in GOD's holy nation.

But we must keep the fight.

We must pray for the children.

And their parents, grandparents, and families.

We must honor each child.

JESUS would want us to.

Matthew 18:5-7

King James Version

5 And whoso shall receive 

one such little child in my name receiveth me.

Every born again adult.

Every repentant heart.

1 Timothy 4:8-9

but godliness is profitable unto all things,

and of that which is to come.

and worthy of all acceptation.

Blame it on SPIRIT.

He created me childlike.

And perpetually curious.

Leading me to threads.

And ideas.

Which I pursue anyway.

Such as knowing the size of a rhino brain.

Which leads to more research on the human brain.

Which leads to more research on other animals' brains.

Which I must share with you now.

Just for comparative purposes:

rhino brain = 400 to 600 g

adult brain = 1300 to 1400 g

newborn baby = 350 to 400 g

adult male = 1300 to 1400 g

adult female = 1200 to 1300 g

whales:

killer whale = 6000 g

sperm whale = 9000 g

Remember how bullies call others "bird brain"?

Let's correct them.

Bird brain size may be small.

 (Heck, they're MUCH smaller than us).

But tiny brains have TONS of smartness.

Look to nature, and you'd know.

I actually do.

Birds make such lovely sounds, and have such playful natures.

The tiniest bird can dish out the shrillest, most powerful sound.

Reverberates throughout.

They're swift, smart, and sassy.

They're alert, alive, and awesome.

They represent fun, freshness, and freedom.

That's why GOD gave them wings.

I think I'll shift.

You can call me "bird brain" now.

GOD cares for little creatures, too:

29 When birds are sold, 

two small birds cost only a penny. 

But not even one of the little birds can die 

without your Father’s knowing it.

The CHILDLIKE heart

 

Genesis 21:6

6 And Sarah said, 

God hath made me to laugh, 

so that all that hear will laugh with me.

Do you have a childlike heart?

What makes one have a childlike heart?

What are childlike traits?

What is AUTHENTIC childlikeness?

One thing, it has nothing to do with age.

If you're an adult and can laugh at the video above, you're childlike.

If it tickles your funny bone, you're childlike.

Other ways:

You laugh easily.

You love unsparingly.

You're eager to learn.

You don't mind being taught.

You care about others.

You haven't become jaded.

You believe in good.

You believe in GOD.

You sit at JESUS' feet.

You skip and hop as you walk with JESUS.

You adore the LORD.

You believe only in Him.

You are born again -- a new person in CHRIST.

You share your toys, or whatever fun stuff you have.

You're not greedy, jealous, or vindictive.

You can't wait to tell good news.

You thirst for truth.

You're hungry for kindness.

You love people being kind.

You have hope.

You have happiness.

You have health.

You are cheerful.

You are creative.

You feel awed.

You are curious.

You are excited.

You giggle.

You get amused easily.

You have good instincts.

You can't wait to play.

Work becomes play.

Sleep is a delight.

Food is a joy.

Rest is a respite.

Sharing is more fun.

Learning is exciting.

Listening is your second nature.

Doing is your third nature.

Resting is your fourth nature.

Doing nothing is your fifth nature.

All you wait and pray for, is GOD's will.

Everything becomes exciting.

Curiosity creates many cats.

You love animals.

You enjoy GOD's creation.

You laugh at His creation -- for GOD sure made funny-looking animals like the rhino, the giraffe, the tarsier, the hippo, the sloth, etc.

He also made playful, smiling animals like the dolphin.

You enjoy His creation -- you love colorful flowers, smelling them, plucking them, weaving them like crowns, wreaths, bracelets, or giving them to your mom or dad.

GOD's SPIRIT makes you creative.

You are a well of inspiration -- other people hear you laugh, or see you create, and they (childlike ones, too) get creative -- inspired by your little works or nature.

Your only rest is sleep.

The rest of the time, you're busy creating, laughing, tinkering, enjoying, eating, playing.

You love kindness.

You can't bear cruelty.

You feel sad when people are sad.

You see the beauty in things.

You live in your own GOD-filled world.

You are not swayed by the world.

You are not corrupted by the world.

You know the world for what it is.

You know it is not of GOD.

You prefer GOD's world.

You prefer GOD's ways.

You prefer sticking by GOD.

Your heart belongs to GOD.

You live in the "playhouse" of your mind.

You make everything fun, playful, kind.

You're a natural at happiness.

SPIRIT's joy bubbles through your heart, and you both have a good laugh -- merry to the core.

Your CORE is JESUS.

It is the only core that doesn't have a meltdown -- unlike nuclear cores.

Having a core like JESUS, gets you on-course.

Your path is always towards GOD.

You especially LOVE word play.

You do not make other people jealous.

You don't boast.

You don't pick fights.

You like peace and pie.

You like spaghetti, so long as it's spaghetti.

You like cake with two inches high of light, fluffy, sugar icing.

You like chocolate, of any kind.

You like candy, naturally.

You don't like formality, thus, they won't find you at tea -- unless you're serving it with your dolls -- in plastic cups.

You like service tea from Chinese restaurants -- so plain and kind.

You enjoy toys, whatever your age is.

You love mom and dad.

You love grandpa and grandma.

You love your brothers and sisters.

You have a few, good friends.

You're not out on a popularity contest, or to get votes.

You like the purity of fun.

You have no hidden agenda.

Your heart is pure.

Your laughter is real.

Your ways are authentic -- you can't bear anything not real.

You don't try so hard.

If anything, you don't try at all -- at least, to be who you're not.

You're just you -- EXACTLY as GOD created you.

You don't believe kids could be murderers.

True children of GOD, love.

There is no spirit of demons in you.

If anything, they flee, knowing you belong to GOD.

There is only the HOLY SPIRIT in you.

We're not into world domination.

GOD rules our existence.

We obey His commands, as a child obeys his beloved FATHER.

SPIRIT keeps us inspired, creative, kind, energetic, purposeful.

We are taught patience, by GOD.

We are taught love, by JESUS.

We are taught everything, by SPIRIT.

We take everthing a step at a time -- GOD is organized -- we merely follow like a happy, devoted, adoring child.

We are content that Someone else does the thinking -- GOD.

All we have to do is obey, and pray to know what GOD's will is.

That makes us understand Scripture easily -- for all of GOD's commands are there.

Because we pray and obey, there are no blocks to our spiritual learning.

Life is really simple, if just believe in GOD.

Especially if you believe in His Son, JESUS.

And your heart is open to the teachings of SPIRIT.

One without the other won't do.

Lastly, we marvel at GOD's glorious GENIUS.

Leaves us all in the dust, where we all go back to anyway.

Anything else I left out?

As SPIRIT inspires me each moment.

Which happens all the time anyway.

Only because I'm childlike.

And thus, entirely teachable.

As you ought to be, too!

Keeps us in sync with GOD.

Who is the WORD, after all.
